Letters of Love - Made With Love
Thank you for your interest in making Letters of Love. The key ingredient for making the perfect letter is LOVE.
Dive into your arts & crafts closet! Grab whatever materials you have and make your cards as creative or as simple as you'd like. Construction paper will do the trick! Glitter, colorful pens, ribbons, and scrap paper are always fun!
We have noticed that, particularly for the homeless, smaller cards are better then larger ones. They are easier to carry around in a pocket or wallet.
Make your letters inspiring and uplifting. Look up quotes and choose some that tickle your heart. Try to put yourself in the recipients shoes and think of what would brighten your day. It's good to keep letters generic for men, women, and people of all faiths. Here are some examples to help you get started:
- Never forget how special you are!
- Your smile can change the world!
- You are beautiful!
-"Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!" - Audrey Hepburn
- "Believe you can and you're half way there." - Theodore Roosevelt
Once you're done, start spreading the love! Bring your cards on The Rounds, or gather your friends and pass them out in your community!
